Where mind meets body.
West Vancouver, British Columbia, September 8, 2008 – MindClick Partners Inc is raising money for breast cancer
research by holding a special Stay Healthy, Heal Faster™ self-development workshop for the general public in support of
the Breast Cancer Society of Canada’s Dress Down Day. The workshop will be run three times: Thursday, October 2, 2008
and will be held at 1409 Bellevue Avenue, West Vancouver.
This annual event, in support of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, involves employees, members and clientele of
Canadian organizations wearing casual clothing and participating in fundraising activities on Oct 3rd, 2008 or on another
day as is suitable. Past participants have held bake sales, BBQs, dress down contests and corporate challenges.
“One in 9 women is expected to develop breast cancer in her lifetime,” says Breast Cancer Society of Canada Executive
Director Sherry Johnston. “But it’s the continued support from passionate organizations like MindClick Partners which
helps further breast cancer research and will ultimately help find a cure!”
The proceeds from Dress Down Day events funds Canadian breast cancer research projects in the areas of early
detection, prevention, treatment, fundamental laboratory investigation, quality of life, health services, and translational
research.
“Donations are urgently needed to continue making progress in the fight against breast cancer,” says registered nurse
and Clinical Hypnotist Janice Manson of MindClick Partners. “As a healthcare worker and as a daughter who lost her
mother to breast cancer 22 years ago, I know the fight is far from over and it is up to us as individuals to use all the tools
we can to stay healthy. That’s what the Stay Healthy, Heal Faster™ workshop is all about.”
Canadian organizations wishing to raise money for breast cancer research by holding their own Dress Down Day event are
asked to register online at www.dressdownday.ca today. Every participating group will receive a FREE breast cancer
fighter kit including posters, pledge sheets and pink ribbon stickers.
