New Year Resolutions: Make The Next One Stick
West Vancouver Hypnotist Applauds The New Year Tradition and Celebrates World
Hypnosis Day By Offering Hope to Incorrigible Back-Sliders
West Vancouver, BC – January 4th 2009 is World Hypnotism Day. MindClick Partners Inc. is offering a free 2-hour hypnosis seminar
on January 4th 2009, benefiting the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and aimed at people who want to achieve success with their New
Year Resolutions.
If 2009 begins as it usually does, about half of us will resolve to change something big or small about our lives while the band plays Auld
Lang Syne. But by mid-2009 most of those resolutions will be distant, unfulfilled memories. It seems that New Year provides a great
incentive to get things started, but it leaves us floundering when some follow-through is required. Hypnosis is a tool many people have
used in situations like that.
"The tradition of making New Year Resolutions is fairly light-hearted,” says MindClick’s Janice Manson, “yet many of the changes that
people resolve to make - like exercising more, losing weight or stopping smoking - could deliver life-changing benefits if they were carried
through. For a change like that, it’s worth investigating how to give yourself the best possible chance for success. Hypnosis is one way
that the ‘resolutionally-challenged’ can be successful.”
The free seminar will take place at MindClick, 1409 Bellevue in West Vancouver, on Sunday January 4th from 730-9pm. Prospective

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS) was established in 1982 when many small organizations, church groups and
concerned citizens joined together in response to the hunger crisis during the economic recession in 1981. The purpose of the GVBS
was to be a temporary social service provider; however, because the number of those suffering from hunger problems has continued to
increase, the GVFBS has become one of the most important non-government funded food assistance providers in Canada. The GVFBS
helps feed more than 9,000 people each week in 16 depots located in Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver and the North Shore.
Additionally, the GVFBS aids over 100 agencies within these areas, providing help to another 16,000 individuals weekly.
